COVID-19 outbreak has seen a massive ‘infodemic’— an over-abundance of information; some accurate and some not that makes it hard for people to find trustworthy sources and reliable guidance when they need it.
One thing is for sure is that while there are people on social media trying to bring calm to the masses by downplaying the virus as a mere cold or flu. These are the individuals that I fear the most.
Mainly because downplaying something that can kill the elderly and the immune suppressed is selfish and counterintuitive.
I know these people allegedly mean well but they are the reason that the World Health Organization wants some people to cover their mouths when the speak.
Of course, some people see it as a violation of your freedom of speech rights but this is only a microcosm of what is to come, taken to its extreme level.
A few days prior, I was warning everyone about medical martial law and an article that I wrote for the Idaho Observer about “The Harm Principle.”
The Harm Principle is simply the belief “that no one should be forcibly prevented from acting in any way he chooses provided his acts are not invasive of the free acts of others.”
This includes giving disinformation, lying, or publishing false or misleading information that can harm others.
In a State of Emergency, this can be enforced and actionable under “The Model State Emergency Health Powers Act.”
The Model State Emergency Health Powers is a public health act originally drafted by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention to aid the United States’ state legislatures in revising their public health laws to control epidemics and respond to bioterrorism.
The CDC’s draft was revised by the Center for Law and the Public’s Health, a collaboration between Georgetown University and Johns Hopkins University. By December 21, 2001, the act was released to state legislatures for review and approval. Critics immediately charged that the MSEHPA failed to protect the general public from abuses arising from the tremendous powers it would grant individual states in an emergency. The MSEHPA provisions also went beyond the scope of addressing bioterrorism while disregarding medical privacy standards– There are many states that have passed various forms of Model State Emergency Health Powers Act legislation.
It is vital that regardless of whether or not you agree with the naysayers or that you are concerned about public health – you need to educate yourself about what your government can do as we head down the highway to the containment zone.
For every amateur conspiracy theorist out there that wants to convince you that he or she knows that this is some political ploy to attack the economy that does not change the manner in which public official wish to guarantee that continuity of government in the event of a proclaimed pandemic or regional shutdown.
Today, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo appeared on CNN to announce that he declared a 1-mile containment zone has been established in New Rochelle, a city in Westchester County just outside of New York City.
Cuomo called it “a matter of life and death” and called in the National Guard to deliver food to residents and to clean public gathering places impacted by the containment zone.
Officials say they hope this “dramatic action” will curb what appears to be one of the largest clusters of virus infection in the country.
I would like to remind everyone that this was never done to contain a flu outbreak.
I am reporting this not to scare you but to demonstrate just how far government will go to contain not only a virus but public hysteria.
“New Rochelle is a particular problem,” New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said at a press conference. “The numbers continue to go up, the numbers are going up unabated, and we do need a special public health strategy for New Rochelle.”
Places where large numbers of people gather would be shut down for at least two weeks and the National Guard is expected to help deliver meals and clean public spaces. But officials stressed that residents of the community who were not under quarantine would still be allowed to come and go as they pleased.
The top 10 states that could also be up for the same dramatic measures are:
Washington state, which seems to be Ground Zero with the most cases and the most reported deaths. Then, California, Massachusetts, Georgia, Oregon, New Jersey, Florida, Colorado, and Texas.
As the disease spreads, local governments have the option to activate Model State Emergency Health Powers if necessary to contain or quarantine people.
Quarantines that can and will be enforced.
Cuomo also mentioned that due to the exponential movement of Covid-19, the actions in New Rochelle are merely a microcosm of things to come.
As part of the containment strategy, large gathering places in the area, such as schools, houses of worship, and a Boys & Girls Club, will be shut down.
State officials will compile a list of other possible locations that will shut down in the 1-mile radius zone.
Social media companies have made the decision to partner with “health authorities” (government officials like those who work for the CDC) to combat “misinformation” about the coronavirus. We all know what this means. Under the mainstream media’s seemingly innocent words lies a rash of new censorship coming down the pipes.
Only the official narrative from those in the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will soon be allowed on social media. Last week, the social media app TikTok, popular with youths and young adults, announced it would be partnering with the WHO in an effort to spread veritable information on the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, in addition to best public health practices.
As I have said earlier, if you want to know what will happen, just look at how China has handled the situation. This will be an excuse to use heavy handed tactics that have been outlined and in operation since the implementation of REX-84, Operation Garden Plot, and Operation Granite Shadow.
These of course are active operations that can be used if extreme measures put us into full on medical martial law.
The Chinese have taken to using force to prevent information from getting out. Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg are supporting the “authority” on health to and ramming the official narrative down people’s throats. “We’re focused on making sure everyone can access credible and accurate information,” Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a statement this week. “If you search for coronavirus on Facebook, you’ll see a pop-up that directs you to the World Health Organization or your local health authority for the latest information.”
What is most sickening is that again politics and corporate interests are what are getting in the way of the public’s right to know.
Viruses don’t care about politics and they don’t care about location and they don’t care about idiots that go on You tube and say that what is happening is a hoax. What is happening is happening and no one who says that they have uncovered the conspiracy is going to matter when you have the National Guard going door to door checking for people with fevers and sneezes.
What’s becoming increasingly evident is that America isn’t ready for a virus outbreak. They have been victims of “cry wolf” information that has everyone running to get a flu shot.
Even though a flu shot is not effective against COVID-19 there are still diehards that push the vaccine and even President Trump is confused about what can abate the spread of the virus.
We have been lolled into a form of comfort that is about to end if measures are taken to the extreme and knowing how government operates – you better plan on the extreme because once they take your rights away they will be hard pressed into giving them back.
Now what I am about to report is what can happen under extreme conditions.
Model State Emergency Health Powers can go into effect upon the declaration of a “public health emergency.” Then, governors and public health officials would be empowered to:
Force individuals suspected of harboring an “infectious disease” to undergo medical examinations. Track and share an individual’s personal health information, including genetic information.
Force persons to be vaccinated, treated, or quarantined for infectious diseases. This includes arresting, imprisoning and forcibly examining, vaccinating and medicating you and your children without your consent. The Government will not be held liable if these actions result in your death or injury.
Literal colonies of sick individuals would be placed in camps far from civilization. The government could mandate that all health care providers report all cases of persons who harbor any illness or health condition that may be caused by an epidemic or an infectious agent and might pose a “substantial risk” to a “significant number of people or cause a long-term disability.”
Pharmacists would be required to flag or report any unusual demand or any increased prescription rates that may be caused by epidemic diseases.
All existing state laws, rules and regulations, including those relating to privacy, medical licensure, and property rights, would be suspended. The government would then have the right to seize your house, car, telephones, computers, food, fuel, clothing, firearms and alcoholic beverages for their own use. Once again, they will not be held liable if these actions result in the destruction of your personal property.
The military, with the blessing of FEMA and Homeland Security, can and will control public and private property during a public health emergency, including pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, nursing homes, other health care facilities, and communications devices.
The military would be used as a police force to enforce the state’s order, they can ask for the surrender of any firearms or survival supplies, among other commodities. The state government would then have the right to impose fines and penalties to enforce their orders.
Again, dramatic and extreme but these laws can be enacted in a State of Emergency,
Back in 2001, three months after the 9/11 attacks, there was controversy over these provisions and many states objected charging that that the MSEHPA failed to protect the general public from abuses arising from the tremendous powers it would grant individual states in an emergency. The MSEHPA provisions also went beyond the scope of addressing bioterrorism while disregarding medical privacy standards.
Many forms of the written act remain on the books and each state has the choice to implement what they see as necessary to guarantee the continuity of government in the event of pandemic and containment.
This would in effect make governors medical dictators, establishing containment zones and asking for military assistance in enforcing the quarantines and shutdowns and placing people in military facilities and FEMA camps.
On Sunday, March 8, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services contacted states, with notification that 21 passengers aboard the Grand Princess cruise ship tested positive for Novel COVID-19.
This ship had been floating off the California coast since Thursday when those 21 passengers tested positive.
There are other passengers considered asymptomatic.
Since Sunday evening, state officials across the country have been working with federal agencies to coordinate the transportation of residents back to their respective home states for the required 14-day quarantine in lieu of sending them to military bases around the country, including Texas and Georgia.
Many of these passengers are being told that they may have to be isolated and monitored at military bases.
Again these actions are part of the REX- 84 and Garden Plot programs that have been around since the 1980s.
Under this plan for the deployment of Operation Garden Plot, the use of CIDCON-1 will be mandatory. This direct support of civil crisis control operations is to be used by the Army, USAF, Navy, and Marine Corp. with an airlift force to be comprised of MAC Organic Airlift Resources, airlift capable aircraft of all other USAF major commands, and all other aerial reconnaissance and Airborne Psychological Operations. This is to include control communications systems, helicopter and Weather Support Systems. And aeromedical evacuation and containment operations.
Once again a medical martial law declaration is the last thing that would happen – but what we can see is that there is a cherry picking of some of the ways rights and freedoms can be put on hold for safety.
Martial law is not simply an emergency declaration. It is the suspension of civil rights and assumption of all authority by the police or military, which in a democracy are supposed to be under civilian control.
The measure is so extreme that, on the national level, it has been imposed exactly once by Abraham Lincoln. Despite the obvious calamity posed by the Civil War, Lincoln’s imposition of martial law and suspension of habeas corpus remains controversial to this day.
The truth is that we are now in a cycle of dissonance. This dissonance has been encouraged and promoted by the media—the threat of COVID-19 is real but so is the threat of oligarchical moves by state and local authorities to remove or dampen the community spread of this virus.
Make no mistake by the end of next week, there will be thousands of confirmed infections in America.
The governor of the state of Washington said at a press conference that Up to 64,000 people could be infected with coronavirus in Washington state within two months.
The number of people who are infected will double in anywhere from 5 to 8 days.
This is how exponential infection is monitored and even though people will say “More people died of the flu last year” – or whatever rationale they give you for not being prepared – their words and opinions mean nothing in a containment action.
Do the math, it gets very disturbing.
US hospitals are preparing for 96 million coronavirus infections and nearly half a million deaths from the outbreak, leaked documents have revealed.
The spread of the deadly disease could be far worse than officials claim, with 480,000 Americans expected to die from the virus and 4.8 million hospitalized, according to a presentation hosted by The American Hospital Association.
This puts the crisis on a level more than 10 times greater than that seen in a severe flu season.
Dr. James Lawler, a professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, presented the harrowing ‘best guess’ estimates of the extent of the outbreak to hospitals and health professionals as part of the AHA webinar called ‘What healthcare leaders need to know: Preparing for the COVID-19.
Again this is the math that is used to show the potentiality of the outbreak using the exponential method – that is if we do not see a break and this continues well into the summer.
In the model response exercise Event 201 which was held in New York in October, the Centers for health security, partnered with the World Economic forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation in creating a public health model that would have to provide for 500,000 cases of a new coronavirus outbreak.
Now many people are unaware that the Pandemic Emergency board that was put together also included, The U.N. Foundation, The World Bank, The Chinese Center for disease control and prevention, the CIA, the U.S. Centers for disease control and prevention, as well as leaders from travel, banking, pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
They knew of the threat before the public did – they created the projections, the actions and the models for control and containment – it was a literally a forum that would illustrate how leaders would guarantee a continuity of government but there is a caveat.
Tim Evans who is the Senior Director of Health, Nutrition and Population at the World Bank Group was in attendance and suggested that the only way we would be able to contain the crisis is through Global Governance.
He sees the problem as a financial one and that governments should actually put money in a central fund to combat this on a global level.
This would be an action that would remove power from sovereign nations to combat COVID-19.
Turning the reins of power to a global body.
This global body would have to train agents and leaders to take control of this situation by implanting health powers on a global scale.
China used COVID-19 as an excuse to hunt down dissidents. Could the United nations and other groups use it to declare that there needs to be a world government that presides over regions and nations states gibing them orders on how to operate their governments under laws created by the World Body?
These groups don’t see this as a public health crisis—they see it as an opportunity to sell you on the idea of world health care and the implementation of laws and medical martial law if needed.
